The Reds' stance comes in the wake of FIFA's recent message to the Egyptian FA, asking the latter to close the case and give Ismaili the right to own the player.

Consequently, the FA allowed Ismaili to register the Egypt midfielder in their books as he seems to be on his way to join Ahli Dubai on loan.

"The board have notified the EFA that the recent decision regarding Hosni Abd-Rabou is totally unacceptable, and that the club refuse to close the case," an official statement on Ahli's web site read.

"Ahli refuse to give up on their rights, based on official contracts with Strasbourg and with the player.

"The board will raise the case to FIFA in order to make things clear."

The Court of Arbitration of Sports (CAS) initially ruled that Strasbourg have the right to own Abd-Rabou, who has already signed a contract with Ahli.

However, Ismaili, where Abd-Rabou spent the last season on loan, reached an agreement with the French side to keep the 25-year-old for 800,000 Euros.
