Back in December, the former Egypt defender said that he would hand in his resignation, following his side's 3-2 home defeat to Military Production in the Egyptian Premier League.
He backtracked on his decision after the military side's players and officials talked him out of departing.
However, Al-Ashri didn't rule out the possibility of leaving Hodoud.
Arab Contractors and Petrojet are understood to be pondering hiring Al-Ashri but the highly-rated tactician will decide on his future after the Egyptian Cup.
"Right now, my only objective is to win the Egyptian Cup with Hodoud," he told FilGoal.com.
"I still don't know which team I will join if I decide to leave."
Petrojet are also considering appointing Gaish boss Farouk Gaafar as a head coach.
On the other hand, Contractors will be looking to install Al-Ashri should they fire their current manager Mohamed Amer.
Al-Ashri, who was Helmi Toulan's assistant before taking over at Hodoud following the latter's sacking in 2006, transformed the club into a top-four side rather than a mid-table team.
He led them to their first-ever title when they beat ENPPI in last season's Egyptian Cup final.
Few months later, Hodoud caused a huge upset by beating Cairo giants Ahli in the Egyptian Super Cup.
