The 18-year-old was promoted to Zamalek's first team by coach Hossam Hassan and repaid the faith of the Egypt's all-time leading scorer by producing some eye-catching displays in the Egyptian Premier League.
He came on as a second-half substitute in Wednesday's 2-0 victory over surprise package Police Union after towering striker Ahmed Gaafar sustained a head injury.
Playing as an attacking midfielder, he combined well with wizard Shikabala to set him up for Zamalek's second goal and keep Police defenders, who are known for being resolute, on their toes.
Ibrahim naturally needs time to establish himself as a first-team regular at Zamalek but he is already looking forward to fulfilling a 'dream' of playing for Real Madrid when he blossoms.
"First I want to help Zamalek win the league. I'm fully concentrated on my career here," he said in an interview with Modern Sport.
"I then want to play abroad, particularly in the Spanish league with Real Madrid. This is my dream."
Ibrahim was part of Egypt's U-20 squad that reached the African Youth Championship earlier this month after defeating Senegal 3-1 on aggregate.
His pace and trickery, which were evident against Police, usually cause opposition all sorts of problems.
"I excel when I play as a playmaker. Coach Hassan also uses me as a forward sometimes," he added.
